causemedia worked with the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts (AAC) to conceive and design MariaTalks.com, a website that educates young adults about sex, birth control, pregnancy, and other issues by viewing them through the lens of a fictional teenager and her friends. The site contains comprehensive, medically accurate information and referrals about things that matter to today’s teens – including pregnancy, EC, STIs and STDs and sexual violence. Maria Talks connects teens to a sexual health hotline also run by the AAC, and reaches out to them via Facebook, Facebook advertising, and email communications.
